$1,800 Donated to Athletics 4 All

The Pineapple Willy’s Foundation’s Summer Beach Cleanup Series continued on Saturday, July 11, with another great morning of giving back to our beaches and our community. This week, 90 volunteers joined us to help clean the shoreline while supporting Athletics 4 All.

As part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to local nonprofit organizations, $10 is donated to the week’s featured organization for every volunteer who participates. With 90 people joining us this week, Athletics 4 All was set to receive a donation of $900.

But the Pineapple Willy’s Foundation decided to double the impact, presenting Athletics 4 All with a total donation of $1,800!

Athletics 4 All works to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in sports, recreation, and other activities in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Through these opportunities, participants can stay active, build confidence, develop new skills, make friendships, and experience the sense of belonging and teamwork that comes from being part of a community.

The Pineapple Willy’s Foundation is proud to support organizations like Athletics 4 All that are working to make our community more inclusive and ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate.

This week’s cleanup also received some extra helping hands from the Bay County Auburn Alumni Club, with 22 volunteers from the organization showing up to help clean our beach!

We’re incredibly grateful to have local groups come together and participate in our Summer Beach Cleanup Series. Their 22 volunteers made up nearly a quarter of this week’s turnout and helped make a noticeable difference along our shoreline.

The Pineapple Willy’s Foundation Summer Beach Cleanup Series continues every Saturday through September 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Next Saturday’s cleanup will benefit Emerald and Forgotten Coast Adventures, an organization dedicated to creating outdoor experiences and opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families.
