115 Volunteers Help Raise $2,030 for The Evers House

Published on August 22, 2026

The Pineapple Willy’s Foundation’s Summer Beach Cleanup Series continued on Saturday, August 22, with another incredible morning of giving back. This week, 115 volunteers joined us to help keep Panama City Beach beautiful while supporting The Evers House.

As part of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting local nonprofit organizations, $10 is typically donated to the week’s featured organization for every volunteer who participates. With 115 volunteers joining us, The Evers House was set to receive a donation of $1,150.

But once again, the Pineapple Willy’s Foundation decided to go above and beyond, presenting $2,030 to The Evers House!

Supporting Recovery and Second Chances

The Evers House is a local faith-based nonprofit providing transitional sober living for individuals working toward recovery from addiction.

Through its 6- to 12-month program, residents are provided with a safe and supportive environment where they can focus on maintaining their sobriety and rebuilding their lives. The program includes regular recovery classes, drug and alcohol screenings, employment requirements, and other forms of accountability designed to help residents work toward long-term stability and independence.

The Pineapple Willy’s Foundation is proud to support an organization providing hope, encouragement, and second chances to people right here in our community.

Another Great Saturday on the Beach

With 115 volunteers joining us this week, the Summer Beach Cleanup Series continues to show what can happen when our community comes together.

Every volunteer who gives an hour of their Saturday morning helps us accomplish two important goals: keeping our beautiful shoreline clean and generating financial support for organizations making a difference throughout Bay County.

Whether you’ve joined us every Saturday this summer or August 22 was your first cleanup, thank you for being part of it!

Thank You to Our Raffle Sponsors

We’d also like to give another big thank you to all of our amazing raffle sponsors who have supported this year’s Summer Beach Cleanup Series.

Their generosity helps make each Saturday morning a little more fun for our volunteers, and we encourage everyone to support the local businesses that continue to support our community!

Join Us Next Saturday

We’ll be back on the beach next Saturday at 8:30 a.m. for another Summer Beach Cleanup, this time benefiting the Panama City Rescue Mission.

The Panama City Rescue Mission is a faith-based nonprofit providing transitional living programs for men, women, and children in our community. Rather than serving as a traditional homeless shelter, the organization focuses on helping individuals and families work toward greater stability and independence through structured transitional programs.

The organization also helps meet immediate needs in our community through meal programs, serving more than 26,000 meals annually while providing thousands of nights of safe housing each year.

We’re excited to support their work and hope you’ll join us for another Saturday morning of cleaning our beach and giving back to our community.

Thank you again to all 115 volunteers who joined us on August 22. Together, you helped keep our beach beautiful and inspired a $2,030 donation to The Evers House!

We’ll see you next Saturday at 8:30 a.m.!
