Community Turns Out for First Summer Beach Cleanup of 2026

Published on June 8, 2026

The Pineapple Willy’s Foundation is proud to announce a successful start to our 2026 Summer Beach Cleanup Series, with 81 volunteers joining us on Saturday, June 6, to help keep Panama City Beach beautiful.

As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and community involvement, the Pineapple Willy’s Foundation donates $10 to a local nonprofit organization for every volunteer who participates in our weekly cleanups. Thanks to the incredible turnout, we were able to present an $810 donation to St. Andrew Bay Watch.

Protecting One of Bay County's Greatest Resources

This week’s beneficiary, St. Andrew Bay Watch, is dedicated to protecting and improving the water quality and ecological integrity of the St. Andrew Bay watershed.

The St. Andrew Bay watershed is one of Bay County’s most valuable natural resources. This coastal ecosystem supports wildlife, recreation, tourism, and the overall quality of life enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Through education, conservation efforts, and volunteer engagement, St. Andrew Bay Watch works to inspire citizens to become active stewards of the watershed and ensure its health for future generations.

Their mission is simple but powerful: to inspire the citizens of Bay County to protect and improve the water quality and ecological integrity of the St. Andrew Bay watershed while fostering the next generation of environmental stewards.

Community Making a Difference

Seeing 81 volunteers come together early on a Saturday morning is a reminder of how much our community cares about the beaches, waterways, and natural beauty that make this area so special.

Every piece of litter removed helps protect wildlife, improves the experience for residents and visitors, and contributes to the long-term health of our coastal environment. More importantly, events like these create opportunities for neighbors, families, businesses, and visitors to work together toward a common goal.

Join Us This Saturday

Our Summer Beach Cleanup Series continues every Saturday through September 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

The cleanup on June 13 will benefit Anchorage Children’s Home, a local organization dedicated to providing care, support, and opportunities for children and families in need.

Whether you’re a local resident, business owner, visitor, student, or family looking for a meaningful way to give back, we’d love to have you join us. Every volunteer makes a difference, and every participant helps support another deserving nonprofit organization in our community.

Together, we’re keeping our beaches beautiful, supporting local charities, and making a lasting impact—one cleanup at a time.
