110 Volunteers Help Raise $2,200 for Bay Education Foundation
Published on June 22, 2026
The Pineapple Willy’s Foundation’s Summer Beach Cleanup Series continued on Saturday, June 20, with another incredible morning of community service and generosity. A total of 110 volunteers came together to help clean Panama City Beach, making this our largest cleanup of the summer so far.
As part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting local nonprofit organizations, $10 is donated for every volunteer who participates in the weekly cleanups. With 110 volunteers joining us, the Bay Education Foundation was set to receive a donation of $1,100.
But the Foundation decided to go even further.
Recognizing the important role the Bay Education Foundation plays in supporting students, teachers, and schools throughout Bay County, the Pineapple Willy’s Foundation doubled the donation, presenting the organization with a total gift of $2,200.
Investing in the Future of Bay County
The Bay Education Foundation works to strengthen public education by providing resources, innovative programs, classroom support, scholarships, and opportunities that help both students and educators succeed.
Education is one of the strongest investments a community can make, and the Foundation is honored to support an organization that helps prepare the next generation for success.
Growing Participation, Growing Impact
Each week, more volunteers are joining the Summer Beach Cleanup Series, proving that our community is passionate about protecting our beaches while giving back to local nonprofits.
This week’s cleanup welcomed 110 volunteers, continuing the incredible momentum we’ve seen throughout the summer. Every participant not only helped remove litter from our beautiful shoreline but also helped generate meaningful financial support for organizations making a difference throughout Bay County.
Together, we’re showing that one hour of volunteering can create lasting change—both for our environment and for our community.
Join Us Next Saturday
The Pineapple Willy’s Foundation Summer Beach Cleanup Series continues every Saturday through September 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Next Saturday’s cleanup will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Bay County, an organization dedicated to providing young people with a safe place to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
Whether you’re a local resident, a visitor, or simply someone who wants to give back, we invite you to spend one hour with us making a difference.
Thank you to all 110 volunteers who joined us on June 20. Because of your support, the Bay Education Foundation received a $2,200 donation, and together we’re continuing to make Panama City Beach—and our community—a better place.
